Have you found yourself in need of roof repairs more and more frequently? If the answer is yes then your roof might be in need of replacement. When the roofing system is damaged, the expenses of repairing it can keep mounting until it equals the amount you will spend on replacement of the entire roof. Check for outward signs of damage in your roof. Is there mold growth? Can you spot dirty patches in the roofing? Do you notice sagging or buckling of the roof? Is there visible rusting or rotting? Are shingles broken or cracked? If you need help with your roof replacement, our Milwaukee, Wisconsin expert contractors will tackle a variety of roofing issues, including those involving roofing estimate.
Inside the house, look for signs of sagging between rafters, a clear visible stream of light which indicates a puncture, and damp spots in the ceiling. These are tell tale signs of roof damage.
All these signs are visible through a pair of binoculars. Avoid getting on the roof for inspection; you might damage the roof further. Contact a Milwaukee roofing professional who will conduct an investigation of your roof and advise whether it needs replacement. If he does suggest you replace the roof, you might have to consider a change in your living conditions while the roofing replacement process is underway. Layering shingles on your existing roof will not take more than a few days but if your contractor recommends replacing the entire roof prepare for a couple of weeks out of the house. If you are looking for Milwaukee area experts in all types of roofing issues, including those involving roofing estimate, you can fill out our form, and receive free, no obligation quotes!

tear off and re shingle with 30 year, or contractor recommended shingle. house has 2 large dormers, and we would like to add ridge vent (price separately) for future finished attic space. footprint of home is 1,400 per floor, 2-1/2 story. some indication of prior ice-damming where newer addition has less slope and backs up to higher pitched roof.
